Dr. Collins Lewis is Associate Professor of Psychiatry, Emeritus at Washington University. A native of New Brunswick, New Jersey, Dr. Lewis received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University. After he received both his Doctor of Medicine degree and Master's in Public Health degree from Harvard University, he trained in Medicine and Psychiatry at Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Lewis is the author of numerous manuscripts, editorials, and chapters. He holds membership in several societies and organizations including American Psychiatric Association, Eastern Missouri Psychiatric Society, Mound City Medical Forum, International Society for Biomedical Research on Alcoholism and American Society of Addiction Medicine, Inc. He also holds board memberships and appointments on various committees.
